The second week of the Dream To Achieve Basketball Camp started out with a boom. LITERALLY! Monday morning, the students parted ways, some ready to head to the daily drills, and others staying tuned for an hour of beat-boxing. After lunch, students headed to their various activities, albeit swimming, the gym, or relaxing with a movie. Then, it was off to league play and workshops! Campers Jason O’Brian and Phoenix Blaze Rios took home the award of camper of the day!

and learned how to shrimp crawl their way out a hold. The students were really excited to put on some gloves and show off their boxing skills. In the gym, other students were prepping for the impending championship game at the end of the week.

In their workshops, students were learning what it meant to be a “Real GM”, having to do an exercise where they pitched a statement to a “sponsor” to help their teams. In poetry, the students finished up their poems, uniting their name and love of basketball. Campers of the day were Catalina Hart and Maleek Dailey.
